Migrate BW on HANA from SUSE to Redhat

Dear Colleagues,

We are planning to migrate our current BW on HANA system's DB (HANA DB revision 1.00.69.06, OS is SUSE 11.3) to a new server(New OS is Redhat 6.5 and new HANA version is 1.00.96).

We plan to use restore and recover way to do this but not sure if this is a good choice. Or use SWPM?

Hope anyone can provide a rough idea or plan for this.
